Dr Gayathri (Gaya) Ganeshananthan has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. In that time, she has had experience in various fields of medicine. She spent six years working in emergency and critical care medicine in various hospitals across New South Wales, and has confidence and experience with a variety of acute medical presentations in addition to having exposure and experience in many other areas of medicine, which includes women’s health, paediatrics, chronic health care and general medicine. She trained in general practice and received her fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also has a diploma in child health from the university of Sydney. She is passionate about primary care medicine. During her free time Gayathri enjoys reading, gardening, travelling, and spending time with her family.
